Most of the big Portal maps I find through Googling are many years old and don't seem to work with 12.2. However, I'm having a real hard time finding a map he can play.
I'm not a mod expert but I installed Forge for 1.12.2 which allowed me to run the Portal Gun mod (apparently 12.2 was the last update). My son is obsessed with both Minecraft and Portal and really wants to play an adventure map like the ones he's seen on YouTube. (#spoiler) = neat!
